I'm using ff on my android tablet. Along with bookmarks and history, I can click on the 'top sites' tab, which let's me scroll thru two screens, each with 8 pinned sites. I just pinned a site on the second screen, and it was immediately'bumped' to the first screen, and one of my favorite pinned sites was automatically moved to the second screen.

I then unpinned and re-pinned this favorite site, thinking it would move it to the first screen, just whatas happened with the newer site, but instead it just got moved to a different spot on the second screen?

What I want to know, do I have any control as to which 'top sites' go on which screen? As far as I can tell, I don't and FF seems to have a mind of its own as to where these pinned site are placed?

Hi freedda

We are due to release an update to Firefox for Android very soon that will help you to make better use of the home screen to manage the shortcuts to pages that you want to visit. I do not have a date for that at the moment, but it is being worked on at the moment and we hope to release it very soon.

Thanks so much. Right now I have ver. 68.9.0, and I hope you are talking about an update to this app, and not to FF Preview! I downloaded FFP, but I do not like the interface, and for me it is more confusing and offer fewer choices than FF (perhaps it's meant for phones?)

PS - if you get a chance, maybe you can respond about the problems I'm having downloading and view PDF files using FF! It seems like a lot of us have had this issue for a long time, without an fix or solution, see - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1294246

Best, freedda
