How do I get rid of search results ?

more options

After I did a Google search, the website is there with my other frequently used websites. After I selected the website I want to get rid of, I click on the star in the address box ans select Remove Bookmark and then Done. Nothing happens. I want to get rid of such sites that I access only once and don;t need them anymore.

Kiválasztott megoldás

It's not a bookmark, it's a history entry. Here are two ways to remove things more selectively than the Clear Recent History feature:

  • Arrow down to entry on the address bar auto-suggest list and press the Delete key. Note that the URL will show in the address bar until you up or down arrow again, but the history entry will be suppressed from appearing on the drop-down.
  • Use the Library dialog (History menu > Show All History)
