I work in IT and unfortunately I am working on too many brand new and obscure devices, they have expired and self-signed certs and I can't just keep trusting them, even though thats not working. I need to be able to completely turn off all protections for SSL certs if I can.

I am able to set Firefox as my default browser, but as soon as I close out, it is no longer the default browser.

Another issue I have is that I have a message at the top of the Settings page indicating that some other organization is managing Firefox. I have read all the support notes on this problem, but the one the instruction that I think would work is grayed out so I can't change the parameter.

I have 2 workstations and I use firefox as my primary web browser for both workstations. My office computer gets secure connection failed which is my main computer but I'm able to logon with my laptop computer without any issues. The site is internal which access our monitoring software for wireless. I'm able to access the site via other browsers, Chrome & Edge on my office computer without any issues. Not sure what else I can do to make this work on my office computer since this is the main computer I use. The following is what I get:

Bonjour, depuis quelque temps je n'arrive plus à me connecter sur mon interface du site https://www.leboncoin.fr/annonces/offres/provence_alpes_cote_d_azur cela fonctionne avec edge mais je préférerai rester avec Firefox. Le bon coin me dit que c'est un problème de configuration. pouvez vous m'aider ? avant cela marchait très bien. merci d'avance, V Paul

When I receive an email that has a link FIrefox opens without any of my settings. This also happens with Firefox pop-ups, which indicate I don't hae certain products, such as Web Advisor, even though I do.

I guess he first question is why a new iteration of Firefox is opened when I already have it running.

Firefox updated this morning and now I have 3 "recent searches" added into the drop down from the address bar. And my frequently used addresses are now 5, I think it was 6 until today. Also the top 2 lines are search with Amazon and search with Google.

Is there anyway to get rid of the new recent searches, and also the search with Amazon and google? I don't want or need either of these "features", just my most used site addresses.

Make amazon and Google search go away and take the "recent searches" with them.

What's with youtube this week? Earlier there were issues with buffering every now and then, which I've read was google to make firefox users change browser to chromium-based one (chromium browsers didn't had buffering problem). But now videos won't even start to play just buffer endlessly. I've read somewhere that youtube changed something on the server side and now third party apps may have problems playing video. I don't have playback issues on vivaldi or chrome but I don't want to switch browser.

For a while now, Firefox has been opening with the sidebar appearing every time. I never wanted this and don't know what causes it to open every time I open Firefox browser now.

What setting is there to stop the sidebar automatically displaying/opening upon Firefox startup?

Since 127.0.0 and now with 128.0.0 i am unable to print readable barcodes from the firefox web browser due to the print quality being so poor, (other web browsers print fine)

My system specs is as follows

i5-12400 32gb DDR4 3200mhz 250GB SSD as main (wd blue NVME)

Whenever I play 8k 60fps video on youtube it lags and get massive frame drops with igpu sitting at 100% usage. With other browsers like chrome and edge it works 100% can play 60fps 8k video without any issue.

Hi! I was prompted earlier today to update Windows 10 on my laptop, and now adding tags to Bookmarks isn't working correctly.

If I try to add tags to a bookmark, normally - I start typing the tag and if I already have tags starting with those letters a list would usually show of my existing tags that start with those letters - and I can choose which tag I want to use.

Since the update, what I get is a list of what tags are already on the tag-line for my bookmark! This is terrible.

I have a huge library of Bookmarks - most of which are extremely well-tagged.

When I start typing a tag name, I need the interface to act like it did previously - and show me what tags I have that start with those same letters.

My Firefox browser is on auto-update so it's up-to-date.

I hope this gets fixed very shortly because I really hate it! And I'm constantly adding new bookmarks and editing my old ones - so this is such an annoyance.

I hope my description is good enough because I can't get a screen-shot (as soon as I try to activate the screen-shot thing, clicking to do that makes my Edit Bookmark window disappear).

I do hope this gets sorted out soon! BTW, I'm usually very happy with the Bookmarks system :) ~Liz

Firefox will not open Startpage gives "Content Encoding Error" or "cannot decode rawdata" when opening on Firefox. Can open the search engine on Chrome but not on Firefox or Safari.
