I presume you have created a HTML signature file and then instructed Thunderbird to use it when you Write a new message.

If you did not create a signature HTML file, but would like to know, here is a link to info - scroll/ use shortcut link to Signatures stored in files:

Whether you are creating a simple clickable image link in eg: a Template email or an auto added HTML signature file. the following info is the same.

When you added the image via 'Insert' > 'Image', a small window opens.

in the 'Location' tab you click on 'choose file' and locate the image.

the 'Dimensions' tab allows you control the size of the displayed image. To make smaller/bigger you can use the 'Custom Size' option and check 'Contrain', then when you alter the pixel width size, the height is auto adjusted.

the 'Appearance' tab allows you control spacing and alignment.

the 'Link' tab allows you to add a clickable link to the image enter the http://www. etc webpage

click on OK to insert the image
