Pogo.com games are not working with this latest Firefox update. Please fix this. Have to go to I.E. to play at Pogo.

1. I go to Pogo.com. 2. I select any game, like Spades 3. The games tries to load, but just stays stuck--will not load. (The game works fine if I use Internet Explorer as my browser, but I really prefer Firefox.)

If Pogo games aren't working with the current Java 7 update then try to uninstall that Java version and install the latest Java 6 version instead. We've seen more reports about this, so you can give it a try.

You can find the latest Java version on the Oracle website.

See Java Platform > Java SE 7U10 or Java 6U38 (Download JRE)

Thank you for your answer. Except, Pogo works just fine on Internet Explorer, so I believe there is a problem with Firefox, not Java. I believe it a problem with the Firefox latest update. Also, in Firefox, when you open a new tab, the cursor does not automatically go to the "awesome bar", The cursor goes to the search in the middle of the screen, which is annoying. I would like to see this problem corrected in Firefox, because I want to do all my browsing here, and not have to go over to Internet Explorer. Chris

I had forgotten to check your plugins list and see that you have an older Java update 35 version.
So at least update to the latest Java 6 U38 version to get the latest security patches.

You can try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Thank you very much for your help! I went to the Java, and it updated to Version 7, update 10, and now I can play Pogo in Firefox again! Thank you so much! Chris
