After downloading latest version of Firefox my bookmarks where deleted, so I restored my laptop back to an earlier date and now just Dismiss it when it says an update is available. How will I know when this problem has been taken care of where I can update Firefox? Firefox is the only browser I have as I've did everything to block Microsoft from taking over my laptop. I'm fixing to delete my old Microsoft account to complete that procedure. I'd have to research Chrome to see if they attempt to control what I can do with my laptop like Microsoft does. My only problem with Firefox was they allowed Microsoft to do it's best to change my system to Edge, but I'm still fighting them. Just noticed at bottom of this page under Troubleshooting information, "securitySoftware": { "registeredAntiVirus": "Microsoft Defender Antivirus" Now I see I still have connections to Microsoft. Thank you Mozilla for showing me this. I've got to change my security for this. Hope Firefox has it's on.
