When I open firefox, the page shows icons at the top to the right of the "save to pocket, view history, show side bars, and firefox," icons, there is a "search and print recipes" orange triangle icon.’ It appears to be tied to a YAHOO browser because it now becomes the default browser for searching the web. I have to manually switch to different browser. How do I get rid of this nuisance?

Firefox itself is a web browser and Yahoo in this case is a search engine.

Mozilla has nothing to do with Yahoo anymore, especially since they got into a legal dispute /forums/contributors/712925 so the Yahoo you are seeing may have perhaps been added by one of the Extensions you have installed or updated recently.
