Reset password without losing data

My pc died on me so I had to reset it. All my files are backed up in my Mega Cloud but unfortunately the password to the cloud is only saved in Firefox and I don't know it anymore. All my passwords are saved in the Cloud and the password to access the cloud is saved in Firefox... you see the problem. I need help to recover my Firefox password without losing the saved passwords. If anyone can help me out who to contact I would be very grateful.

This was a Windows 10 Reset? That usually gives you choices about what to do with your data, such as, leave it in place, back it up, or dump it. The back it up option creates a temporary folder (saved for 28 days) under

C:\Windows.old

Can you find such a folder on your system?

If so:

Before proceeding, please set Windows to show you hidden files and folders: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files

Then check here:

C:\Windows.old\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

If you find recent data there, please pause and we can suggest how to resurrect your saved logins files.
