If you're using an Android-based phone (e.g. Samsung), try finding the Firefox app icon in your app drawer by swiping up from the bottom of your home screen (or by tapping on the app drawer icon). Once it's found, hold and drag the Firefox icon onto the edge of the screen to place it on your home screen.

For future convenience, you can also toggle on the setting to add new apps to home screen.
