75% of the time, typing a search query for Google in the address bar results in nothing happening after I got enter. I have to touch the bar and retype my query before I get any response. Any ideas?

Hi

I have an idea that might work.

  1. Open the Android Settings application (typically a cogwheel icon)
  2. Open Applications and find Firefox
  3. In Storage, clear the cache (not the data!)
  4. Restart your device

Hopefully this should resolve this issue.
