Is it still bpossible to keep cursors from flashing/blinking?
Seeing old questions, it used to be possible, after editing about:config, but the directions don't work, there's no longer any "ui.caretBlinkTime" or any "New" menu in about:config.
I know the flashing cursor isn't as bad as the flashing menus, strobe lights on the street, etc. but it isn't necessary either.

hahaha, as i said "life is dead without humor" :-):-)
you have to create the preference in about:config
To add a new preference, context-click (right-click) anywhere in the list of preferences and in the context menu > New > integer > give the name ui.caretBlinkTime > set it at 0 (zero).

cheers and thank you :-)

Thanks. That seems to solve it, in Firefox, until I find a system-wide solution.
