Lightning and two other critical extensions -Local Folders, and Google Provider (for subscribed-to calendars) -are tagged as legacy, with options only to disable or remove. I've read through the calendar update/version upgrade threads, and after following the 1st suggestion's step 5 -to remove the Lightning extension and restart -there is no longer any calendar icon/button to open a calendar tab- it isn't in the 68.4.1 upgrade as described. I'm on win 10 pro 64b, up to date.

Chosen solution

I just re-installed all 3, I'd not fussed with extensions for a long time, and read the implication of "Legacy" too literally. Though each is not yet AT 68.4.1 it seems this is a reminder more to the extension authors? nonetheless not an issue -I couldn't find the edit/remove thread option within this thread, but it can be, my error.
