I accidentally pushed "remember this password" on an account I want to be private. How do I turn it off? I changed the password, but the old info continues to show.

You can inspect and manage permissions for all domains on the about:permissions page.

You can inspect the settings for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:

  • Click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar
  • Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected

You can click "View Saved Passwords" to inspect the passwords for this domain.

You can try clearing obsolete logins on the Preferences page, either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > Preferences > Security > "Saved Passwords" button
  • (menu bar) Firefox > Preferences > Security > "Saved Passwords" button

Does that work?

Edit: I assumed this is on your Mac, for Windows it's "Options" and Tools > Options instead of "Preferences"
