My verizonwebsite sign-in box will not save my username / password. I understand this is controlled by the firefox browser. This feature continues to work properly in my old Comcast website account. I've checked all the required boxes in the firefox tools/options menu. Could Verizon be blocking this feature? In fact the feature was working briefly but no longer. Any ideas?

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?

There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page.
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you and you need to sign in once again.

I think Password manager is the issue. E.g.; whenI had Comcast as server, opening the sign-in page and clicking the username box would give me the list of users (two, me and the wife). One click on a selected user would automatically fill in the password and sign on ( to email account). With my new Verizon account, I cannot get the server ( or browser?) to consistently allow this convenient feature ( It actually does happen rarely, but I cannot figure how). Sign in has to be done manually. Also, each time I sign out, I get held up by "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page" I have to click "allow" not once but twice, to leave the signout page. Then I just get a blank page. Very annoying, and I cannot figure how to disable this roadblock. Any thoughts? Thanks
