My ubuntu OS 16.04 would not allow any FF updates - I was on the latest 88.0. But by using snap i was able to update to FF 102. However next time I rebooted it was back to FF 88.0. So i tried reinstalling via the terminal with all the latest ubuntu updates which works because I have extended security maintenance until 2025. It reports that Firefox is installed but still nothing will open and i can find no record of my FF88 profile and settings all appear to be lost! Can anyone help in restoring this?
