When I started Firefox today I had two blank tiles among the ones I use frequently. I went to a web site by searching and used the site. When I went back to my home page that site was in one of the blank tiles. I don't use this site often so want to delete the tile.

You can click the three dots that appear if you hover a tile and click "Delete from History". You can pin your favorite website to tiles to prevent Firefox from filling them with history visits.
