Hello, Since I installed Thunderbird 91.2.1 today, I can't add anymore a new calendar hosted on Nextcloud, via CalDAV. My calendars which are already synced before 91.2.1 work perfectly, but if I try to add a new one, with the same CalDAV address, the same login and the same password, Thundebird says that the login credentials are not accepted. However, I am sure that it's OK because it's my Nextcloud login and it worked yesterday. The CalDAV URL I use is like : https://cloud.mydomain.fr/remote.php/dav/calendars/User/private-calendar/ I tried on Microsoft Outlook with the Outlook CalDav Synchronizer, and it worked perfectly. On Android, with Davx5, it works too. What can I do ? Thanks for your help.

I don't know why it would suddenly stop working, but in the meantime you could try adding it with TbSync and Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV:

Thank you sfhowes for your answer. But unfortunately, it doesn't work, same error... I didn't specify but I was on TB 78, when it worked, before to update directly to 91.2.1 today.

It looks like you you're using the correct location suggested here:

https://cloud.nextcloud.com/remote.php/dav/calendars/daniel/personal/

Maybe the update to 91 broke CalDAV for domain accounts, or just for nextcloud accounts.

New Info: I just noticed that when I use 'http: //' instead of 'https: //' , Thunderbird can finally connect to my Nextcloud CalDAV calendar. Before, with TB 78, both protocols worked. Can this help?

I don't know if there's a general issue with https URLs in CalDAV in 91, or just with Nextcloud. You might get a developer to look into it by reporting on Bugzilla. If you do, include a link to this topic.

I can confirm that it also breaks support for CalDAV on Zoho, so it doesn't seems to be a Nextcloud issue, but a Thunderbird issue.

I just filed a bug report here. Feel free to add comments to it: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1738944#c0
