I have a folder with 500 messages that I need to export to another email address. How can I do this?
I migrated all emails to Thunderbird, created new folders that contain certain emails that I need to give to another person.

What process do you wish to use? There are many possibilities and to some extent it depends on the number of messages to be handed over, and whether or not you have a complex structure of folders and subfolders.
For a small number of messages, the most obvious, to me, would be to forward them as attachments, via email. Or you could use the Mail Redirect addon.
You could export them as files and put these on a USB stick or CD, or use a file sharing system such as Dropbox, but you'll have to work with the other person to agree on a type of file you can both work with. Thunderbird happily saves messages as eml files, but not all email clients accept these.
If the other person uses Thunderbird, you could give them a whole account or set of folders. Look at the ImportExportTools addon for this.
Another approach would be for both of you to set up a new temporary shared email account using IMAP. You fill it with the messages on your client, he uses his client to move the messages from the shared account to his own account.
