It destroyed my data plan!!

I was downloading some large files and was using LoaderDroid as my download manager.

I clicked on a download link, loaderdroid popped up, and I started downloading.

Then I noticed, 2 files were being downloaded. One with a zip extension, downloaded by loaderdroid (which I wantedl, the same file was also being downloaded by firefox with a PART extension.

So basically, when I click a link in Firefox and download with LoaderDroid, it downloads the same file twice.

WILL YOU GUYS PLEASE FIX IT ???

Hey mmhmoin!!!! This is DavecMozilla. I understand you have a concern about the Loader droid eating up too much of your data that your wireless service provider allows!!! I also understand that while trying to download a particular file, that Loader droid and Firefox downloaded the same file at the same time. I believe I may have a resolution to your problem. Tap the box across “Show advanced preferences” to check it and gain access to additional settings. This allows you to customize functionality of Loader Droid even further by giving you access to controls for core features. Tap on "Total Number of Connections" to ensure you don't have too many connections. Also make sure to go to "Show Advanced Preferences" and make sure that the "Limit number of Simultaneous downloads" is checked. If you have any more questions, here's a link that should answer any other questions you may have about downloading and installing the "Loader Droid":
