Hi, for the past couple of days I've been getting a certain error every time go onto a certain website.

XML Parsing Error: unexpected parser state Location: jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/omni.ja!/chrome/toolkit/content/global/netError.xhtml Line Number 311, Column 58:
&netInterrupt.longDesc;

This error is frustrating the hell out of me and I have searched and still haven't found any solutions. I've also reinstalled firefox multiple times.

If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

There's quite an old bug (2010) filed for that but it's just mostly "me too" comments

What Firefox local are do you use (i.e. the language of the user interface)?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
