hii pennyb364,

I think you says Private Network no Browser.

Uninstall Firefox Private Network

  1. Click the menu button and click Add-ons.
  2. Find Firefox Private Network on your list of add-ons.
  3. Click the options menu for Firefox Private Network

4. Click Remove.

thanks Arman

Private Browsing was not listed in Add-ons. I appreciate your help, though. Thank you.

Do you mean that you are running Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History)?

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • remove checkmark: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"

Cor-el, I don't use Private Browsing at all. I stupidly installed it because I trust Firefox, but it did something to my computer so some things don't work now. I just want it to go away.

Thanks for your help, though!

Can you attach a screenshot to show what you are referring to?

Private browsing is not new but Mozilla has added an additional icon. I think you want to change the following preference in about:config to false. browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled
