Trying to open the Firefox web browser

I keep clicking on the icon for the web browser and it will not open. I have done a virus scan, emptied all junk files, rebooted the computer, and the web browser still will not open. I even went to your web site and downloaded a fresh copy, and installed it, and it still will not open....sorry for being so long winded.....

ok try this right click on icon and click open file location..and tell me where it is ..
