I want to be able to open Firefox (again) in a NEW WINDOW, like I used to be able to. Any suggestions?

I am getting very frustrated with FireFox -- I use Tab Mix and recently I have not been able to open a New WINDOW. If I have Firefox open and click on the icon again, instead of opening a new window, I get the home page opening up (again) in a new Tab. I want a NEW WINDOW. How do I get one???

Thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me with this problem. I really HATE Internet Explorer, but Firefox has been playing games lately that really frustrate me and my browsing experience. And I feel I may have to go back to IE! YUCK! Save me, please!

How about using { Ctrl + N } to open a new window? Does that work?

Probably caused by a setting in TabMix Plus. I don't use that add-on, so I can't tell you which setting controls that. See TMP support for help.

From the menu bar, click "File" and select New Window.
