every time I click, a box pops up: [JavaScript Application] ! uninstal.set [OK]. This just started a day ago. How can I get rid of this annoying pop up?

I don't have any other details. I just started getting this pop up box that I have to click several time to get it to disappear. It pops up repeatedly. It gives no other explanation other than Java Script Application. - that covers a lot of ground, and I hesitate to disable all Java Scripts. Any suggestions? This only happens when I'm on the internet. It just popped up again.

Other users have reported that this is caused by one of their add-ons. I suggest going to the Add-ons page and disabling everything that is not essential, and then restarting Firefox. Hopefully it's not caused by something you really rely on.

orange Firefox button > Add-ons > Extensions

or

Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions

Any luck?

Wow. as you suggested, I went to tools-addons-extensions and disabled all java related add-ons, then restarted foxfire. It seems to work. the pop-ups have ceased. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
