When I log onto my yahoo or google mailbox - the userid is saved. I don't want that to happen as it is a shared computer. It doesn't save passwords, just the user id.

Clear the cookies from that website or let them expire if you close Firefox. You can also use Private Browsing mode to prevent Firefox from storing cookies across a session.

I cleared out all the cookies and changed my parameter to delete cookies when I closed Firefox. I then closed my browser and reopened it...logon or userid was still there. Thank you for your reply though.

I tried earlier to use privacy browsing and when I did I wasn't able to log into my google mailbox at all.
