I keep getting a Thunderbird notification that update has failed, giving me links to follow to download a copy. When I check Thunderbird it indicates the software is up to date. If this is a scam, how to I disable it? Any insight appreciated.

The latest version is 91.4.1, so there is an update pending. The prompt looks legitimate to me. Alternatively you can manually download the installer from https://www.thunderbird.net/ and run it.
