If that were true, why do the exact same sites snap open in Chrome, Opera, and Edge? Often, bot NOT always, stopping the load (X) then reloading (circular arrow) fixes the problem. Often this combo needs to be done multiple times. It happens on my home computer with only uBlock Origin as an add on, and my office computer with NO add ons. So, is there a fix or do I ditch FireFox?

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?


Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
