the screen freezes after we try entering account credentials on login page?
When we try to login our credentials on the gmail page after setting up our account in thunderbird, the gmail login page opens to enter credentials but it doesn't allow to move ahead . it freezes

What version of Thunderbird are you using? There are gmail issues when using versions prior to v52.x
