the history settings I changed are not saving when i exit options

My settings are currently to do not remember history, and i want to change this.

Everytime I attempt to change this and click on ok (there is no apply button!?) it hasn't saved....and if I go back onto options everything is the same. Please help!

What are the current history settings?

To see all the History and Cookie settings, select:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"

If not all history settings are the default then this choice will stay selected.
If all history and cookies settings have the default values then the choice automatically changes to "Remember history".
