how do I block audio caused by the mouse moving over an advertisement

This is very irritating. Why don't you have a preference that can block uninvited audio. The audio came from an Adobe Flash Player 10 item....a hamburger advertisement. I don't even think my mouse passed over it. It happened as soon as the IGoogle webpage appeared.
