I have 3 email accounts on Thunderbird, on my main email account I cannot send emails, I receive just fine. I get the following message when sending. I've checked my settings and don't see anything wrong; I've done no new updates that I know of, had account for years. Thanks

Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <runningwild900@roadrunner.com> sender rejected. The email address you are sending as must match the email address you used to auth. Please check your SMTP settings. AUP#Out-1500. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again

The problem is that you are using the SMTP server for one account on another account. A careful review of each should fix that. A simple approach that work is ths: - click 'account settings' and scroll down LEFT side to 'outgoing servers (SMTP) - edit each SMTP server's Description field with the associated email address - this is just for easy identification - then, click 'account settings' and click account pane for each account to confirm that the SMTP setting on bottom line shows the email address of the account (this is the Description field you previously updated)
