Is there a setting to prompt me each time I close Thunderbird-- Are you sure you want to close Thunderbird? I am continuously closing my email by mistake. To reopen I have to login to several email each having their own password. I would be nice If prompted so I could say NO or YES.

IF THERE IS NOT A SETTING. I MAKE THE SUGGESTION TO ADD IT TO THUNDERBIRD. I STARTED USING THUNDERBIRD WHEN IT WAS STILL CALLED NETSCAPE and before that, don't remember what it was called. Thank you for you help.

I don't think there's a way to have a warning or prompt on closing TB, but there is an add-on that you can set to minimize TB to the notification area when you close the program:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/minimizetotray-revived/

Tested and working in TB 52.9.
