why can't I even access the internet after udate?

After the forced update , my bookmarks are screwed. Ones I haven't used in a year are "recent" and ones I used everyday for the last 7 months are non existant. Now it says my profile is missing and i cant access anything. I have used Firefox for years with no problems but this has me wanting to switch.

Ok. System restore got me back on the web with fire fox but every single one of my bookmarks are gone. EVERY SINGLE ONE. Business, personal, health, banks and financial. GONE. THANKS!!!
