folks,

i have this issue: Problem printing from the internet....print too small??? [this was on old inquiry] i resolved it by going to about:config and reset all the options i found my printer listed 2x, so i had to reset everything 2x after the reset, i lost 8 1/2*11 paper size and the default went to 3*5 paper size

what to do? 1. how do i delete entirely the 2nd set of printer attributes 2. how do i keep these size & paper issues from re-occurring

thanks, ron

Hi Ron, I understand that you fixed an issue where the items you printed from Firefox was very small. Resetting the printer settings is one of the recommended here: Fix printing problems in Firefox

However, it sounds like those settings are not being saved. So, next steps:

  1. Update Firefox to the latest release
  2. For the settings that are being saved, click on the "Presets" drop down in the File > Print settings. Save the settings the way you want them.
  3. Then test it in a new session of Firefox with a print preview. Check the printer settings when you try File >Print on any webpage, are the settings the same from last time?

Did they stick?
