I have been using enigmail with Thunderbird seamlessly for years. Lately (and I do suspect that it is after the latest update of Thunderbird), many recipients of my emails cannot decrypt messages, nor encrypted files. They come up as .dat files or other unknown types. The very same recipients had no problems in the past. It appears that recipients using a Mac and or Thunderbird do not have those problems. Ester

I suggest you ask questions about enigmail in an enigmail forum. We know very little about it here. But it sounds to me like you have a new private key.
