With version 22.0 even when printing everything is too big to fit on the page. Never had these problems with Firefox 22.0.

That's no problems with FF 21.0 not 22.0. The text is too big on the web pages and the headers are too small, even using the so called fixes. FF 22.0 needs to be fixed.

The Viewing of websites on the screen shouldn't affect the Printer output.

Alt key > File --> Page Setup = Shrink to Fit - 100% is usually the best setting

Thanks, I have set it to Shrink to fit.

It is interesting that in version 21.0, 100% worked just fine.

Which fixes did you do?

Nosquint, Theme font and size changer, and, layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref, individually and in combination. My windows DPI is set to 120. If I use 96 then everything, but, firefox is too small. This is on my desktop w/ 22.0 inch screen. On my laptop the windows dpi is 96 and there are no problems. Currently am using 1.1 setting on the layout setting. Have tried different settings, but, when I make the web page smaller than the headers are too small, such as bookmarks and taskbars.

It is best to adjust the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to make icons look correct.
Then you can use extensions to adjust the text size in the user interface and the page zoom in the browser window.

Use this extension to adjust the font size for the user interface.

You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoScript extension if web pages need to be adjusted after changing the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref.

All of these things work to some extent, but, the end result is that Firefox 21.0 did a better job than ver 22.0 is doing. Too much adjusting involved.
