hello Crotalid, it looks like a program on your pc called "Fast Hide IP" is causing these crashes. please try to uninstall/remove it...

Thank you! I've just read on the Internet someone had the same problem. I uninstalled that program a while ago! Does this mean I will have to wipe clean my hard drive and start over? It's not listed in my program's anymore. So I'm not sure what I can do.

Thanks

hello, it should be possible to get rid of it without a full wipe. please download and run a scan with the tool from http://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/ in case hijackthis comes up with any entries containing fastiplib.dll or "Fast Hide IP" (probably in the O10 section) select & fix them.

otherwise try to manually search for that file on your harddisk, some hits from a google search suggest, that it might be located within %APPDATA%\Fast Hide IP\FastHideIP\ (press windows-key + r and open this path).

I done that, removed those files. But I wouldn't let me remove one, and I had to download some other program LSPfix or something. Which wasn't able to fix the file as there is a problem with my winsock.

So I'm just going to reinstall widows. Thanks for the help :)

Stupid software! I only used it as I was using an unprotected wifi connection so thought these program's protect your data etc.
