Firefox is makng windows explorer crash
Everything Will be fine until I download something. It doesn't matter if its gigs or bits, after the download is finished I get the message "windows explorer has stopped responding".
According to Microsoft website on this issue it could be A out-of-date video driver (mine are u-to-date). It doesn't just happen once, The message comes up, I click cancel x4 because the message box appears twice, But it will jsut keep popping up over and over every few minutes until I restart my computer.
Tried reinstalling and plug-ins are up-to-date.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Just did a full system check on viruses and there was 0. As for the safe mode can we try other things first?
I've done something in previous years to where f8 isn't my safe mode button anymore. Its no button and I'd rather not go threw the pain to see what the problem is..
You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe mode:
- On Windows, hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox with a double-click on the Firefox desktop shortcut
- On Mac, hold down the Options key while starting Firefox
- Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled
- the default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored
- the default toolbar layout is used
- the Javascript JIT compiler is disabled
- hardware acceleration is disabled
- plugins are not affected
Firefox didn't crash with the few 5 items I downloaded. I looked at my plugins and only adobe acrobat, Java deployment toolkit, Shockwave flash, silverlight plug-in, web launcher, and windows activation technologies are active and they're all up-to-date. I have the default theme.
Do you have An idea on whats causing it?
