I've updated and upgraded all Firefox components, pluggins and apps, yet NO videos from any source (amazon, youtube, etc) stream in the firefox browser.

my best recommendation to others is to go find a better browser...Firefox was once a terrific app...but with a continual stream o show stopping compatibility problems its just no longer worth the hassle.

I usually update to the latest FF when it comes out. (Seemingly foolishly to do so, since the streaming video breaking freezing problems always persist.) I have found that uninstalling a current FLASH and going back to version 10 along with disabling the hardware acceleration within the FLASH settings corrects the video problems. Irritating how Chrome, and even MS Explorer don't have these problems. Can't you find a solution Firefox??
