Another site that I downloaded keeps overriding my home page.

I downloaded Bearshare and every time I start my computer it changes my home page to Bearshare Search. I have removed Bearshare from my computer but it still changes my home page to Bearshare Search every time I start up. Anyone have any suggestions on how to eliminate this problem.

Something that you have downloaded/installed on your system has changed your keyword.URL preference to http://search.bearshare.com/web?src=ffb&q=. If the information entered in the URL/location bar can not be resolved, this will cause searches from the URL/location bar to go to the setting in keyword.URL pref. Completely uninstalling Bearshare can be difficult. Be careful what you download!
