Firefox crashes
firefox crashes when I upgrade it to lastest verion. Since then I have stried so many steps including uninstalling and reinstalling but there is no success.
Have tried to install older version same result.
Chosen solution
Thank you Alice for your help. My machine uses oracle enterprise single sign-on manager and that what causes the crash.
I have worked my way around it temporarily, what i did was that i went into the moz folder in helper of V-GO SSO and take out the mozcomp.dll file.
My firefox open at start up as expected. Though the oracle sign-on manager may not work.
I'm using window XP SP2
My advice is that if you're not comfortable going into the registry edit like me, you can try going into C:\Program Files\Passlogix\v-GO SSO\Helper\Moz folder and take or drag "mozcomp.dll" or "mozhohook.dll" file out of the folder to your desktop or anywhere you like for safekeeping.
Open your FF browser, no need to reboot.
I hope this helps someone like me.
Thank you guys

Crashes at startup can occur in Firefox 7 or above (but not Firefox 6 or earlier) if you are using a corporate login system such as IBM Tivoli Access Manager or Oracle Enterprise Single Sign On Manager (bug 680927). See the bug report for a suggested workaround or downgrade to Firefox 3.6.xx (available here) which is still being maintained.
