want to revert to default settings - firefox won't close tabs on closing

Latest version of Firefox doesn't close tabs on closure after attempting to set up new tab groups. Now it won't show Facebook correctly. FB account works but not on this system.

You restore default setting through the Firefox SafeMode.

Use - Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults.
