For the tools menu, how do I get "options" to show?

I'm having an issue with our cloud database and the IT person there gave me instructions for a fix but when I went to the "tools" drop down menu, there is no button for "options" as she has on her screen. Is this a matter of PC vs Mac? I'm on a Mac and just updated to Foxfire 7.0.1

Yes look for "preferences" in one of the menus. But if it would be easier to get help if you indicated what you were told to look for.

If you are not on Windows then instead of Tools > Options use:

  • Linux: Edit > Preferences
  • Mac: Firefox > Preferences
  • Windows: Firefox > Options or Tools > Options

Press F10 if the menu bar is hidden on Windows and Linux
