When will my plug-ins function correctly in Firefox 7?

more options

When, exactly, will my essential plug-ins function correctly in Firefox 7.x? In the search window of the Firefox 6.x toolbar, I'm using Quotes.net, OneLook Dictionary Search, Thesaurus - Reference.com, Wikipedia (en) and Dogpile search. RoboForm 7.x and Java Console are also currently incompatible. RoboForm wasn't smart enough to e-mail their users that Firefox 7.x wouldn't work, and to wait until they adapted RoboForm.

One way to check is to ask on the home pages/forums of each of the add-ons.

Thanks, but too much work in my case. I'd rather pay someone to develop and publish reliable software.

Sounds expensive developing a browser and ancillary software. Most of us opt for the free offerings or what comes with the OS.

Roboform was updated to be compatible with Firefox 7.0 a day after the Firefox 7.0 releases.

James: Roboform failed in Firefox that same day you mentioned, on a properly-maintained Windows box. Confirmed by Roboform in a tech ticket that day. Roboform even asked me to be patient while they finished tweaking the ToolBar, with release expected around October 1st.

Thanks for all the replies. Just installed Opera 11.5.x,. All but one of the search engines and plug-ins I mentioned are functioning correctly, including the RoboForm 7.x toolbar. I'll try Opera 11.5.x for a while. So far, it's *considerably* faster than any version of Internet Exploder or any version of Firefox.

(Sweet violins are playing in the background) Sorry, Firefox, I was trying to be loyal but it just didn't work. It wasn't you ;) - it's more that I've changed. But we had some good times, huh? :)
