I think the title explains it all. I can no longer open links in a new tab by "ctrl + left clicking" them. As someone who has a lot of tabs up a lot of the time, this is horribly inconvenient.

I've narrowed the problem down to Tab Mix Plus - if I uninstall TMP, middle click/CTL+click functionality returns, but without the customizations.

Thank you--this solved my problem. The only thing I don't quite understand is why it just started as I've had TMP for quite some time. However, I guess that doesn't matter so much, but what I really want to know is if I re-install it, will ctrl + click go back to not working? Because if I couldn't have that addon, that would be really disappointing xD

Actually if you use the Greasemonkey extension also then that could be the problem as there is a issue with the two extensions if you are using the Greasemonkey 0.9.10 version as you may have gotten a recent Greasemonkey update.

An update to Greasemonkey 0.9.11 should fix it. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/versions/
