Everytime I close firefox when i try to reopen it says firefox is already running and i have to restart my computer to get it to come up

If I close firefox, then try to reopen it says firefox is already running, please close. I dont know where it might be running or how to close so I have to restart my computer to use firefox

-> press CTRL + ALT + DEL to open Task Manager -> Processes tab -> right-click firefox.exe and click End Process Tree -> close Task Manager
