I think your question would related to a specific webpage, not to Firefox.

If you are looking for the padlock on the former status bar (no addons bar) or within the location bar, that was done away with and replaced with site identification button.

You should contact Discover if their service isn't working for you.
Their support pages do look a bit (!) outdated to me.
