FireFox5 does not start

I just upgraded to version 5.0. FireFox will not load after I try to start it. I get an error message saying

Error: Platform version '5.0' not compatible with:

minVersion >= 1.9.2.16 maxVersion <= 1.9.2.16

I tried to go back to version 4.0 ... same problem. Version 4 will not run either.

Same error box appears
