My Firefox Bar won't go directly to a website anymore and instead just does a google search. Can anyone help?

The Firefox Bar used to take me to a site directly when i typed in a word but now when i type something in it just does a standard google search. any way I can fix this? I have checked all the settings and i cannot find anything. thanks!

Search behavior is different from the location bar in Firefox 4+. It was changed to always search rather than using a Google algorithm. It should be more predictable now but you can change it back by changing keyword.URL in about:config to http://www.google.com/webhp?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1
