After posting on a thread by a user with a similar problem to mine I decided to make my own on mine exactly. When I clear my private data on Firefox, anywhere from 3-9 plugin-container.exe's open up. This doesn't happen all the time and very closely resembles the already reported bug to Mozilla. I'm only making this thread now so that those who have my exact problem can relate here instead of similar but not identical threads.

I can't believe this is still happening. For a while there with version 6.0 I think it was fixed. Now however that I've updated to 7.0.1 it's once again a regular occurrence.

It has to do with clearing cookies and other data that is stored by a plugin. Firefox opens a plugin-container process for each plugin if you have selected cookies to be cleared via Clear Recent History. Try to exclude the cookies and see if it still happens.
